Electromagnetism. On the other hand, obviously any electronic circuit, including USB, is electromagnetic. A more accurate choice of word would be EMI (i.e. electromagnetic interference), or EMC problems (i.e. electromagnetic compatibility problems).

Probably short for Electromagnetism or short for EMF which is short for Electro Magnetic Field.
