Any chance you could provide a summary of how OOP was originally much more similar to cell biology? :)

Some of them never got fully translated to reality at Xerox because of various reasons (e.g. memory limitation of hardware at the time). This is worth a read:

OOP could only have been inspired by the then-available knowledge of cell biology, and it seems that even today we still have a lot to learn.

We know way less than we don't know. And much of what we think we know is wrong.
