I disagree. I think the headline is just fun. Maybe s/be/become/ or some other tweak, but I don't smell arrogance at all.

Not everything that's addictive is necessarily time-wasting! In reasonable doses, I've been learning a ton of interesting stuff just browsing through my linked articles.
