Unlikely. EDI was introduced around the 70s and is still used today with no signs of going away. Those documents are being transferred over FTP.

I’m working on trying to abstract away retailer and sales channels’ methods of communicating with distributors (EDI/CSV files over FTP, REST/SOAP API endpoints), and the number of retailers using FTP, even Amazon and Wayfair, is mind boggling.
