I really like the Unison syntax:

  fib = cases
    0 -> 0
    1 -> 1
    n -> fib (drop n 1) + fib (drop n 2)

(drop is (-) for natural numbers, clamping to 0.)

It has mathematical beauty. But I'm not a fan.
