A politician who told Nazis to leave the country was murdered by a Nazi. Suddenly this sounds a lot different.

No he didn't tell that to Nazis. He told that to citizens of his own town who feared for their safety.

Why does that even matter? Are you implying that murdering him was in any way justified?

Wait, you were the one bringing that up. And no, no one would say that because that's also illegal now in Germany (you see a pattern).
