Even if younger people are not dying some have reported lasting problems after. We will find out after 1-2 years only the actual effect on the survivors not dying doesn't mean nothing happened
I know it is for me (age: 55 y.o. or so), and while it isn't being currently problematic, but I have no idea about how it might present in 20 years.
