It's a corporation, not a democracy. Any "voice" employees have is an illusion when the CEO has his mind made up and controls a majority of voting shares.
Engineers can still do things such as mass walk-outs and strikes, which affect profits and shareholder confidence in leadership. But if the people who care just quit one by one, they'll only be replaced by people who dont care and will never do those things.
