In seriousness, having to run 5+ tabs and Electron apps that each take 500-2500MB is the only reason 8GB of memory feels cramped for work purposes, for my case. Take those out of the picture and I can run a few light VMs and still have enough room to work, on 8GB.

Main reason 2 cores + hyperthreading gets laggy and unresponsive at times, too, for that matter, compiling aside.
