Really? In my experience, they were the best "cheap" airline, by far. Their airplanes were pretty comfortable, compared to United, Alaska, or Spirit, to name a few.

It's not like those savings weren't passed on to consumers. I recall buying a flight from Dublin to New York for €200 with Norwegian.

IMO it was good for its price. Who else would sell you USA <> EU for $300 for a two way ticket?

This is way inaccurate, I can count several worse ones beyond the absolute champion of all crappy airlines, the Ryanair.

I wonder what kind of compensation from the company and the government the laid-of employees are entitled to. It's Scandinavia after all.

I don't know enough to say they'll be fine, but there's a chance it's not as bad as it sounds.

If you don't want to fly on a nickel and dime airline, don't buy tickets at nickel and dime prices.

nickel and diming is good because it gives you the option to choose what you want to pay for, rather than, just paying for everything whether or not you use it.
