If Anonymous stands for free speech then, why do they engage against a church that has other views, this seems hypocritical to me.

But it maybe due to the fact that they don't really have an identity, hence one member may do something that others won't approve of, but this would turn out to be a chaotic mess.

Free speech is free speech even when it's stupid.
