Obviously not (according to OA)! Remains anonymous, interviews rarely, none of her works involve/portray her (just props / hired actors) and for long time (and according to one quote still and to much greater degree) does not even take credit for their works.
Doesn't seem that way to me. It seems like Z's saying that our culture is lacking myths, and set out to create some, and tries very hard to avoid letting us see behind the curtain, at least for some time. It appears to actually be art for art's sake.
But I'm actually pretty bummed whenever something like this happens. It makes me believe less in magic and circumstance on the internet. Any amusing video must be scoured for subterfuge and product placement. Any video is suspected of being an ad for Ring doorbells, and I'm half-expecting Jimmy Kimmel to walk into the shot and smugly explain that he staged the whole thing.
