I find it hard to imagine that viewing such videos in the context of a society which vociferously opposes sexual violence could result in anyone thinking the videos are depicting reality. Are we meant to believe that a significant number of adolescents see the vast overabundance of non-abusive pornography, the wider messages about sex they've received every day of their life from their parents and society and peers, and a tiny number of abusive pornographic videos and then conclude that the abusive ones are the actual realistic ones?
