The alternative of the perception is the App is the tool of HK "mobs" to sabotage the HK infrastructure. To avoid further esculation of the violent situation which evetually could lead to the intervention of Chinese army, Apple agree to remove the App.
So Apple has the courage to face the popular opinion of mobs. The problem of mobs is that when there's a controvercial issue without concensus, mobs believe that are the God who can decide which is right or wrong without knowing they are the ones who are fooled by Weapons of Massive Deception.
I admire the courage of Apple (Maybe not so much because Apple is powerful enough to stand against the opinion of mobs/activists/cult believers. I'm not brave so I have to create an alternative ID to be downvoted by HNers here who believe they are the God who own the truth and are qualified to make judgement that Hong Kong protesters are freedom fighters but not thugs
