I worked at a satellite office where all of my team worked 200 miles away. We worked well together, but there was nothing like the times I would drive up there and we could be in a room, at a whiteboard and drawing things out.
Sure, but that’s ultimately a per-capita performance metric whose reduction might be acceptable if costs for remote come down, much like accepting that an open office has an acceptable per-capita efficiency decrease. I am perfectly capable of pairing over video chat, even if it is not ideal.
