“Fata” is the word for a bucket in icelandic. Quite apt indeed.

Now I feel bad for fixing the typo...

But is it pronounced FAY-ta or FAT-a?

FAY-ta is a type of cheese. Not unlike this comment thread.

Sadly we pronounce it FEH-ta in the states
