Either there's some really whacked out sample bias here or Google is most definitely the better choice.. >= 20 hours indexing differential.

SearchYC's benefit is not that it gives more current results: it allows you to search comments by, e.g., their author in ways that Google, being a general search engine, cannot.

I can live with 20 hours typically when the results are presented better.
