Probably? The future is hard to predict. What I will say is that there are a hell of a lot of people climbing on to the web developer bandwagon right now because the barrier to entry is low and that there will eventually be an immense shake-out.

Are you committed enough and talented enough to survive that shake-out? Or will you wind up like the fellow in the apocryphal "Will code HTML for food" pic that's been floating around the Internet since the dot-com bust? Only you can decide that.
