Well said. The privacy nazis are a very vocal minority here but I'm glad you are focusing on making something that people might actually want to use.

We already have PGP if you want inconvenient NSA-proof communication with nobody. What we really need is good open alternative to Slack and WhatsApp, that have good security but not at the cost of making them annoying to use.
