The made up story sound similar to Hertz losing 32 million while hiring Accenture to do internal API rewrite in 2 years.

Hertz is what I've landed on.

Only thing which doesn't line up is employee numbers.

And they had Accenture do Angular app development.

They are listed as a MuleSoft customer too: https://www.mulesoft.com/

Wow, I thought that MuleSoft was a made-up anonymized name like SuperRentalCorp...

They used to trade on the NYSE as MULE before Salesforce bought them for a few 'bill. Think it was a legit reference to "donkey work".

I was thinking of Hertz, but the corporate history doesn’t align. The post said the company had about 100 years of history, but Hertz was founded in 1958.

Rent-A-Car Inc, which eventually became Hertz, was founded in 1918.
