It’s interesting how if one takes the smallest snippet of meaningless source code outside the company, the person is liable for a giant lawsuit... Yet when HR, leveling, and personnel artifacts get leaked (and often not to the engineers who the docs govern), there are zero consequences.
Despite growing popularity of Computer Science, there still exists a tremendous double standard with how engineers and non-engineers are punished.
Edit: Dear downvoters, I have seen entire leveling docs, distributions, and HR procedure handbooks exchanged between companies. Execs do this without consent of the source company. Maybe the context of this news item doesn’t fit, but please check your ignorance before voting.
