When Apple disambiguated the US Virgin Islands from the British Virgin Islands, someone wrote an angry article about it, because they felt that Hong Kong and Taiwan should be labeled as Chinese territories.

Limiting searches to xinhuanet.com does yield massive amounts of propaganda, but mostly about how great foreign companies think China is. Maybe I'm just using the wrong search terms, though.
