Blue origin can't build a moon rocket by 2024, so maybe they can settle for the lander. Here's the vision I bet they're aiming for: a Spacex rocket, a United Launch Alliance capsule, a Blue Origin lander, and a round of pork barrel in every Congressional district.

ULA has not capsule. What are you even talking about? ULA is pure launch business.

Boeing has capsule that can't go to the moon, and Lockheed Martin is a contractor on Orion.

Sorry, I was thinking of the Orion capsule, which is made by Lockheed Martin, one half of ULA.

Why can’t they use New Glenn?

People are generally quite skeptical of New Glenn, because not only has it not launched, but there's also no public evidence of construction of any non-engine hardware. Might just be that they play it closer to the vest than SpaceX and ULA, but the eternally-slipping timelines for New Shephard do not inspire confidence in their ability to get New Glenn into orbit soon.

I'm seeing a lot of exponential technology. If Jeff B. takes more risk and focus, it could be possible. We'll see.

Expand that buzzword into something concrete, please.

"Lander... mumble... O'Neill Cylinders!" does not count. That's hopes and dreams, not technology.

i think it's a buzz word for things that people think will gain internet scale cycle of development, one thing begetting another.

Mass ratio solution of the Tsiolkovsky rocket equation, of course.

It's like velcro, but better.
