Calling that photo of the starving kid "tragic" is a bit of an understatement. Who the hell that was a good idea?!

Should've gone with Jimmy-Wales-puppy-dog-eyes instead. That's my go-to for heart strings.

The Guardian has been using this technique intensively, and is now profitable, so I think we can expect to see a lot more of this.

Yeah, but the Guardian is, by my estimation, a truly bad-ass journalistic institution devoted to speaking truth to power.
