You know, just today I had to install Xterm on my Lubuntu box because the DosBOX debugger is completely mangled by LXTerminal.

LXTerminal doesn't get all the blame though, DOSBox devs should know better than to use a terminal emulator (with all its in-band signaling fail) and instead create a new non-terminal console window. It's not like they don't already have the code for one just lying around.

It also has the awesome Secure Keyboard feature, which I haven’t yet seen anywhere else.

It is absolutely my favorite my terminal. I'm happy to see it's still being actively developed.
