Considering how awful governments are, it just seems natural. At least with a corporation I can buy stock, I can attend shareholder meetings. With governments I have to wait 4 years or longer to choose between crap and more crap. That's why I think more and more people prefer Google over the government of the day. Without fixing democracy's major faults, more corps will gain more and more power.
