Well, maybe judged too quickly. Looks like there's more information at https://e.foundation/e-solutions/ – including a download link and gitlab instance. I guess the primary selling point is that it's an "un-Googled" smartphone OS.
There is a roadmap and a link to a list of supported devices on that page.
