I (more or less) tend to operate, despite my cynical nature, that everyone's nice until proven otherwise. I genuinely enjoy helping people and providing feedback/mentoring/etc. My brevity is often taken for callousness, but that I spend the time at all is generally enough to offset concision--I do actually have stuff to do ;)
