Sounds like the perfect time to stop using AirBnB. You are not required to do so and they are not required to serve you. I don't see a problem other than you being upset by their rudeness.

I only first used AirBnB 2 weeks ago. There's a single one in my town. I've never seen an uber. I think many on hackernews overestimate how many people use or depend on these kind (uber, airbnb, etc) services outside of high population density areas.
