Every since the expansion of the welfare state, and minimum wage laws, poverty has taken a sharp rise.
Watch and see how locking people perpetually into UBI will make the situation worse.
It is immoral to steal from a person and to redistribute to others.
2 wrongs will not make a right and that is why I'm against expanding giving more free stuff to people via UBI.
Now, I'm FOR UBI all-in because history and the realities of human incentives clearly points to:
- me securing my wealth and solidifying my position
- poor will get poorer (less competition for some contracts and jobs)
- masses will become complicit, avoiding civil war.
A lot of these business leaders are singing the same tune as Pro-UBI to appear good (and further solidify their positions).
Yes, can't wait for UBI it will be good cuz "technology and muh compassion".
