Less memory. Less disk space. When a critical bug is found in the electron runtime, you'll have to trust all those packaged electron versions get updated in time.
Let's be fair here, if you're running on anything but Linux you're hoping every application updates their bundled Qt frameworks when there's a bug found in it too.
But why would I be running anything other than Linux...
