I would suggest that you switch jobs or move to more interesting project at your current job. Starting a business sounds very attractive but it is totally different from a programming job. I personally enjoy programming and would hate to deal with customers/marketing/sales/VCs/employees. Starting a business is just too many variables and never ending cycle of worry.

There are lot of new exciting technologies(AI/VR/Crypto) which are high in demand and fun to work in.
