I think this is a great question to ask. I feel the same way, and unless I missed it in the comments so far, I don't see any specific examples that would give me pause.

I'm loving Rails so far, especially after being able to start from scratch and build a viable, working, commercial, revenue earning app in just a week. I'm sold, but scanning the horizon cautiously.
