Users are fleeing Facebook and sharing their stupid posts on .... oh right theres no alternative. They will easily beat this.

Pretty sure they will beat this very easily. The few friends I have that actually raised concerns have already forgot it.

My wife, my parents, my inlaws, they all use FB. Haven't heard a peep from one of them.

They absolutely will beat it. Facebook isn't done until there is a direct competitor, not "an alternative". Plus, they own Instagram and Whatsapp which are becoming increasingly valuable properties.

Just wait till earnings. They are going to beat, and anyone not onboard is going to feel the full power of FOMO.

That's pretty harsh. Most aren't that old. But this is a tech news site and tech hates people over 30, so I guess this is to be expected.

As to their "cluelessness", most of the questions I saw weren't that bad. But, then, I don't expect them to be domain experts in everything.

The average age of congress is about 60.

60 isn't old. It's the new 50.
