Here is what the NYT omits from its "reporting": the NYT makes millions of dollars selling "tourism packages" to people who visit Iran, in cahoots with the current tyrants there [1]; their local "journalist" Thomas Erdbrink would be thrown in jail if he wrote anything close to the truth about the protests and the theocracy.

There is a reason the Washington Post no longer has a reporter based in Iran: the last one spent 18 months in jail there. [2]
