That might be an excuse for building walls in some residential area on the East Coast. That's not an excuse for restricting the access of indigenous Hawaiians to undeveloped lands of dubious title. Haole is welcome to visit; haole should remember he is a visitor.

And justice was served the local norms prevailed in this case [1]. I agree that he doesn't have the right to circumvent local traditions, but using pejorative and xenophobic terms like 'Haole' adds nothing to the discussion.
