If it helps, I'll say that I've tried using Priceline's software and found it similarly broken and buggy in a way consistent with the article. No issues with my CC being charged--thank goodness--but I saw flights disappear, reappear, change availability, and change details entirely while trying to book a trip to Munich.

Eventually I gave up and ate the slightly worse prices at Expedia. No bugs, easier to pick a flight, and no obnoxious William Shatner-oriented graphic design.

I am not sure if this is a bug in Priceline. I've seen the same with Orbitz last week. Moreover, with Orbitz fares reduced or became unavailable while trying to book.

Sure, but check any number of online review sites. You'll find find hundreds of similar stories. IMO, at some point, you have to say to yourself "Ok, Priceline sucks in the customer service department and using them might actually be risky."
