There's room for people to earnestly disagree about divisive issues, but no room for this.

If you don't want to be banned on HN you're welcome to email hn@ycombinator.com and give us reason to believe that nothing like it will ever happen again. But please don't create new accounts to break HN's rules with; when people do that we eventually ban their main account as well.

Very few folks complain when we see other submissions about impostor syndrome. Why complain when it happens to be a women who's highlighted? Why add "Teehee?"

The story is not unrelatable to anyone in the industry. Is the idea that a woman might also suffer from impostor syndrome in this climate so offensive?
