I agree completely. I think that even when the real title of an otherwise good article is linkbait, it should be changed when posted to HN. I would love to see a feature developed around this idea: perhaps allow others to suggest more accurate titles to be voted up, or to simply make it a rule to use honest titles and quote it directly under the title field on the submit page.
