Alexander thank you for the idea, for use cases, and for API usage examples. But your implementation is lame and defunct piece of crap.

`movies` and `ytview` scripts are broken, so I've stopped testing and deleted the whole bundle. It's faster for me to rewrite these utilities from scratch using my favourite languages than fixing and maintaining awful bash scripts.

Bash is good at quick experimenting, internal tooling, etc, but nowadays it's a shame to release scripts written in it in public. Use Ruby, Python, Lua, D, Nim, [tons of other convenient languages] instead. Even modern c++ is more maintainable.
