I wish the world was as I was told when I was a kid and not the way it is. Some of the main reasons (statistically) why wives divorce their husbands in the US are unemployment of husband and higher earnings of wife. This should tell you there is some biological programming that is different between genders regardless of what is currently popular in soft-science academia.
