You are fucking adorable. A new collections library is so far off the table that it doesn't bare mentioning, but this whole vote is about compatibility. Last I checked, the module system proposal lists a user module system as a non goal, so what this has shown is that the JVM needs its own community process to keep external interests from paralyzing forward motion on the standards front.
