Thank you for this. I would have naively accepted the article. Family members suffer from AD so this is particularly interesting for me. How can they pervert the nature of the findings so drastically?
Now, this is not an area that I'm terribly familiar with, so I also had trouble understanding the paper. I get the impression that the disease (in the mouse model) attacks the dopamine system first, so this can be an early warning that Alzheimer's may develop. Is that a correct interpretation?
