I work in healthcare and I can appreciate his comments. Imagine a horribly complex system with perverse incentives and regulatory bureaucracy.

It's worse than even that.

The problem is not the first sentence. It is the second one.

We all knew it was complex. He said it wasn't. But had no clue.

It's politics. He's saying it because it's an effective thing to say, not because he actually didn't know health care is complex.

I doubt it. I don't think he is that smart. He can't even talk like a normal person.
