If you are dependent on the linux ecosystem, it seems counter-productive to awkwardly force your workflow on another one.
For example:
- apt-get install php
- php -S localhost:8081
- Launch Chrome on Windows, go to localhost:8081 (it works)
There is zero awkwardness or extra configuration there. Only problem is that some things do not work properly yet (because still beta). For example `go get github.com/mattn/go-sqlite3` will not work because of some ?gcc? compilation issue. But it's getting fixed on next release.
