Both http and https work for me. What kind of error do you get? On which browser/platform?

mac -- 10.9.5 -- safari -- 9.1.3

Apparently old Safaris have an issue with HTTPS and CORS. I've implemented a workaround, please recheck.

I'm using here Safari 10.0.3 on OsX 10.11.6 (El cap) without a glitch. What's the error you get?
