My mom moved from Los Angeles to Switzerland about 5 years ago. She is very happy, makes good money, and plans on retiring there. I visit regularly and while it's a bit boring for young people, it's a beautiful, civilized country filled with well educated, tolerant people. If I raise a family I would prefer to do it there!
