Jobs in Switzerland

Swiss person here. Not quite sure what to make of this. From what I can tell, it's a generic job board without a search function and a whopping total of 204 job ads (which don't seem to be exclusive to jobwire).

FWIW, I have previously used indeed.ch (no affiliation). They seem to have many more job ads and let you create alerts for new ads. jobs.ch is another alternative, and Monster has a swiss site as well.

Note it's very difficult for a non-EU job applicant to get a permit to work in Switzerland. Many HR depts will not even attempt it as it requires a lot of paperwork to apply to the canton and approval is subject to very restrictive quarterly quotas. Given there's a pool of half a billion EU citizens eligible to apply for Swiss jobs without such barriers, I've been told by a few different people in HR that they generally just discard the non-EU résumés.

Am I blind, is my browser blocking something, or is this really a job search site without a text box for entering search terms? How does something like this make it to the front page?

My mom moved from Los Angeles to Switzerland about 5 years ago. She is very happy, makes good money, and plans on retiring there. I visit regularly and while it's a bit boring for young people, it's a beautiful, civilized country filled with well educated, tolerant people. If I raise a family I would prefer to do it there!

I just get "The page isn't redirecting properly"

anyone else?
