I am using bourbon.io for the flexbox grid system. My final css compressed is less than 4k for the whole site.

They will have a SASS API, you can use the Bootstrap mixins and have a similarly small footprint.

You can just include the grid system alone [1] right now if you want to right now:

  @import "path/to/bootstrap/scss/bootstrap-grid"

A SASS API just for the grid system or for all elements?

Do you know where we can learn more about this?
