You pointed to something which represented a relatively minor cause of population growth in the context of our overall history on this planet. What did you intend to illuminate with your earlier comment?

Relatively minor compared to the industrial revolution, maybe. But it's certainly not minor if you look at the change in world population when Sumeria began.

Just a thought. Obviously I think anyone who goes vegan means well.

I'm not sure I'd call the invention of grain agriculture relatively minor; all human population expansion depends on the availability of grain as a food storage mechanism.
